Student Body Composition & Exper. Potential Survey Questions

This is the current working-list of potential survey questions (order as best as possible)

Short-form, survey questions:
1. How many months and/or years have you been attending CCAD?
2. I am enrolled as a: Freshmen, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, CE, SMAC, …
3. Do you consider CCAD to be a diverse campus?
4. Is race something you think about daily?
5. My birth certificate lists my gender as male.
6. I identify as male.
7. Others consider me to be male.
8. My birth certificate lists my gender as female.
9. I identify as female.
10. Others consider me be female.
11. Do you consider yourself to be a racial minority?
12. Do you consider yourself to be a racial ethnic minority?
13. Do you identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered?
14. How much contact do you have with people of other races or groups on campus? Students, Instructors/Professors, other CCAD Staff?
15. Do you believe that CCAD is a just and equitable community where everyone’s rights are protected?
16. What type of contact do you have with Students of other races or groups?
17. What type of contact do you have with Staff of other races or groups?
18. What type of contact do you have with Faculty of other races or groups?
19. Is it easier or harder than it was a few years ago to make friends of other races on campus?
20. Is the topic of diversity included in your class discussions and projects?
21. How would you describe the overall state of race relations on campus?
22. In what specific ways do you wish race relations were different on campus?
23. Can you think of anything that could happen to enhance/strengthen/improve race relations on campus?

Long-form, more-involved questions:
What are the messages about race, culture, privilege or entitlement that inspire your artwork?
What do these messages have to do with your experiences at CCAD?
